I bake my no yeast cinnamon rolls in a muffin tin… for no particular reason except that I just want to keep them intact and not spreading out all over the place. These lovelies are made just the way a regular cinnamon roll is made. The dough is rolled out into a roughly-shaped rectangle and topped. Amazingly, there is no yeast, no eggs, and they taste out of this world yummy!

Steps to make Cinnamon Rolls (no yeast):
  1. preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Mix flour, white sugar, salt, and baking powder together
  3. after mixing the dry ingredients, add in shortening. Mix until coarse.
  4. add the milk to mixture, add slowly and stir well. It should be somewhat sticky.
  5. On a lightly floured table, roll out to 1/4" thick.
  6. Butter the entire thing. Sprinkle cinnamon over the butter. Sprinkle brown sugar all over cinnamon. press down gently with the palm of your hand to press sugar and cinnamon into the dough.
  7. Carefully roll the dough until you're left with a long log.
  8. Cut the roll in 1/4" slices. Place on a pan with parchment paper underneath.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes and enjoy!

The dough is rolled out into a roughly-shaped rectangle and topped. Amazingly, there is no yeast, no eggs, and they taste out of this world yummy! We used almond milk and vegan butter to make them vegan all the way. I seemed to have misplaced mine sometime in the last month, so I spit the rolls Here are the differences between yeast-required & no yeast-required cinnamon rolls, in my experience/opinion: No yeast dough is much more firm.
