2. line approx 9inch glass pie pan with dough and set aside, i made from scratch but can use premade
3. skin, core and slice 6 apples. i used fresh picked 3 red and 3 green.
4. mix all ingredients in large bowl, after sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon is well mixed add apples and mix til no more dry product is left and apples are well coated
5. while apples sit with mixed ingredients cut approx half inch long strips the length of dough and pie pan
6. spoon apple mix into pie crust lined pan then place strips however you see fit, line 1 inch around crust with foil after 30 minutes
7. takes approx 45 minutes
